The nearest is the Airport of Cagliari-Elmas (www.sogaer.it) which connects in less than an hour the county town with the southern area of the wetlands such as Guspini (44 minutes), Terralba (55 minutes) and Oristano (59 minutes). In addition, the airport of Cagliari is connected with the centre of Oristano by the railway line Cagliari – Oristano (www.trenitalia.com) and you can reach Oristano in just over an hour. To Reach Maristanis by Car

Driving through Sardinia is a stress-free experience due to the low population density of the region. Moreover, a lot of natural attractions are reachable only by car. So, renting a car or shipping your car is the best way to enjoy Sardinia and its wetlands. You can reach the Gulf of Oristano following the highway 131. We recommend you fill up with petrol on departure because some places are without petrol pumps and follow the signs along the road.
